Man kills beloved, commits suicide

Amritsar, Mar 5 (UNI) A middle aged married man allegedly strangulated his beloved and later committed suicide in the Harkishan Nagar locality of Chheratta, a suburban town this morning, police here said.

According to the police, Pitambar went to the house of his beloved, Bindu and after a quarrel strangulated her to death. Later he committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan.

The police on reports from the people of the area recovered the dead bodies. The police has registered a case and informed the husband of Bindu, who works for a private company in South Korea.
