Major fire in BSF camp in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 5 (UNI) A major fire broke out in BSF base camp in the frontier district of Kupwara, reducing to ashes its clothing store, guard room and office, official sources said.

They said a single storey loading point of 143 batallion BSF at Chowkibal caught fire and destroyed its clothing store, the guard room and the office of G-branch.

There was, however, no report of loss of life or injury in the incident, the sources added.

The fire was reportedly caused due to short circuit.
