HP Assembly passes supplementary budget

Shimla, Mar 5 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha today passed the supplementary budget demands of Rs 70 crore.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, who also handles Finance portfolio presented the resolution for passing the additional grant for the year 2007-08 in Vidhan Sabha. The resolution was passed unanimously without any discussion on the matter.

Mr Dhumal also placed the Economic Survey Report of the state for the year 2007-08 in the assembly.

Later the House was adjourned till March 7. State budget for the year 2008-09 would presented on March 7.
