Heavy rush of devotees at Sri Kalahasti Temple
Tirupati, Mar 5 (UNI) Thousands of devotees are arriving from Chitoor District and neighbouring states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu for offering worship to Lord Shiva at the famous Sri Kalahasti Temple near here for tomorrow's 'Shivaratri' In view of the recent bomb blasts in the State capital and other places in the country, elaborate security arrangements were made at all important Shiva Temples in Chittoor District, police said.
APSRTC would operate about 260 special buses from tomorrow morning in the Chittoor region to help the visiting pilgrims, a corporation official said.
State Minister Chenga Reddy would offer ''Pattu Vastram'' to Lord Shiva on behalf of the State Government at the Sri Kalahasti Temple.
