Guv, CM felicitate people on eve of Shivratri

Shimla, Mar 5 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokje and Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today felicitated the people of the state on the eve of Maha Shivratri.

In his message, Mr Kokje said, ''Shivratri is one of the major festivals celebrated by the people from all walks of life with devotional fervour. I hope the festival would bring happiness and prosperity in the lives of the people.'' Mr Dhumal, in his message said, ''Himachal Pradesh is known as the abode of Lord Shiva and Shivratri has its vital significance.
