Fortune 500 CEOs call on YSR
Hyderabad, Mar 5 (UNI) The Chief Executive Officers (CEO's) Club, a prestigious association of Heads of Fortune 500 companies, is setting up its Indian Chapter here which will be inaugurated on March seven.
A 25-member delegation comprising CEOs of leading Fortune 500 companies across the globe, who were members on various chapters of CEO Club from the US, UK, Gulf and Singapore, met Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy here today.
They hailed Dr Reddy as the most dynamic Chief Minister and said the overall growth rate of 10.37 per cent achieved by the State was outstanding with the agricultural growth even more laudable, a release said here.
Dr Reddy said Hyderabad was the most 'Happening City' of India and Andhra Pradesh, the most happening State in the country and thus opening of the Indian chapter of the CEOs Club here was most appropriate.
While welcoming the CEO Clubs' decision, Dr Reddy asked the member companies to actively look at Andhra Pradesh as a destination for their investments in various sectors.
The members of the delegation interacted with the Chief Minister on various developmental activities taking place in the State.
The delegation expressed its appreciation for the tremendous progress achieved by Andhra Pradesh in various sectors and building excellent infrastructure which, they considered, was a great attraction for investments from across the globe.
Dr C S Rao, CEO, AP Invest and Advisor, IT addressed the delegation and gave a briefing on various initiatives taken by the Andhra Pradesh Government to attract quality investments in the State.
