Deora's two-day visit to Venezuela postponed
New Delhi, Mar 5 (UNI) Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Murli Deora's visit to Venezuela has been postponed till the first week of April.
Mr Deora's visit, scheduled on March 7-8, was to be held on an invitation from his counterpart Rafael Ramirez Carreno (Government of Venezuela).
However, no official statement was issued giving the cause of the postponement of the visit.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Secretary M S Srinivasan, ONGC CMD R S Sharma and ONGC Videsh Ltd MD R S Butola were to accompany the Minister.
During his visit, a joint venture agreement between the national oil company of Venezuela, PDVSA and ONGC was scheduled to be signed at Caracas on March 8.
