CPI(M) activist killed in Kerala
Kannur, Mar 5 (UNI) A CPI(M) activist was killed and a BJP leader injured in attacks today at Thalassery.
Police said the activist, identified as M P Ranjith Kumar (39), was attacked by suspected BJP activists and succumbed to his injuries at Thalassery Cooperative Hospital.
Meanwhile, BJP leader M T Sumesh (32) of Kuyyali suffered serious injuries on his left hand and neck when he was allegedly stabbed by CPI(M) activists.
Mr Sumesh was admitted to a hospital in Kozhikode.
