Chargesheet against BDO in bribery case
Patna, Mar 5 (UNI) The state vigilance investigation bureau today submitted a chargesheet against a Block Development Officer(BDO) in a bribery case.
The chargesheet was submitted by the bureau before designated vigilance judge of Patna S K Panwar against Sudesh Kumar, the then BDO-cum-CO of Balrampur in Katihar district, under the various sections of prevention of corruption Act.
According to the charges, Mr Kumar was arrested by the bureau sleuth while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 from a person for releasing the instalment of Indra Awas Yojna on January 7 this year from Katihar.
