CCTV installed for Mahashivratri in MP town
Ujjain, MP, Mar 5 (UNI) In the view of huge inflow of devotees at this ancient temple town Mahakaleshwar temple, among the 12 jyotirlingas in the country, close circuit television (CCTV) has been installed besides attractive decorations and massive arrangements for tomorrow's Mahashivratri.
District administration and temple management committee installed CCTV to fecilitated 'darshan'.
Mahashivratri marks the marriage ceremony of lord and on this occasion He is decked as bridegroom. The grand campus of temple was given the form of marriage 'pandal'.
The 'Bhasmarti', which takes place in the wee hours daily, would be conducted at noon.
District Collector and Committee President Shivshekhar Shukla said that arrangements were also made at Ramghat, Mangalnath and Siddhwat ghaton for the devotees, who would take dips in Kshipra river.
''On this day after 'Shiv Panchayat' the deity will be adorned with a 117-kg mask,'' said Committee Administrator Shubhkaran Sharma .
