Brahmotsavam concludes
Tirupati, Mar 5 (UNI) The nine-day annual Brahmotsavam at Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple concluded today with 'Chakrasnanam' (dipping of the Lord's disc) in 'Pushkarini (tank) at Srinivasa Mangapuram near here today.
In the morning, the processional deity of Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy was taken out in a procession along with his Consorts from the main temple.
Amid chanting of vedic hymns, priests performed 'Snapana Thirumanjanam (celestial bath) of the Lord and his Consorts in Pushkarini. Later, the Lord's Disc was taken into the Pushkarini for a holy dip.
In Tirupati, as part of the Brahmotsavam, the processional deity of Lord Kapileswara was taken out in a procession along with his Consort Goddess Parvati at Kapileswara Temple.
