Advocates warn to gherao Vidhan Bhavan

Lucknow, Mar 5 (UNI) Advocates across Uttar Pradesh today warned that they would gherao Vidhan Bhavan if their demands were not met.

Adhivakta Vichar Manch state organiser Krishan Kumar Tiwari said they would stage a 'dharna' at GPO, and if their demands were not fulfilled, they would gherao Vidhan Bhavan the same day.

The lawyers are demanding an increment in Advocate Welfare Amount from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, a separate colony and an honorarium.
