2 arrested for betting on India-Australia One Dayer
New Delhi, Mar 5 (UNI) The Delhi Police has busted a racket on cricket betting with the arrest of two people from South Delhi for indulging in betting on the India Austrialia cricket one-dayer held yesterday.
Gaurav Shukla and Rajender were arrested by a team of the Delhi police yesterday afternoon from a flat in Siddharth Enclave while they were indulging in betting on the one day international between India and Australia.
Six mobile phones, one laptop, one television set were also seized from their possession.
Interrogation of those arrested revealed that they have their roots in Lucknow and recently shifted to Delhi for indulging in cricket betting.
