18 get life for murder in MP
Ratlam, MP, Mar 5 (UNI) The District and Sessions Court today handed life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 2,000 each to 18 people convicted of murdering a farmer following festering enmity.
According to prosecution, Gareda village-resident Bhanwar Singh was en route to a farm with friends on the night of March 8, 2007 when he was surrounded and stabbed.
Judge Rajeev Bhatjiwale handed down the sentence to Kalu Singh, Shravan Singh and Dashrath Singh, among others.
