KCP(MC)-sponsored bandh affects life in Manipur
Imphal, Mar 4 (UNI) Life was today disrupted in Manipur following the Kangleipak Communist Party (Military Council) KCP (MC)-sponsored bandh.
The KCP(MC) observed ''Black Day'' today to protest the killing of its leader Leibakmacha along with 14 other cadres last year.
All business establishments and educational institutions remained closed and the streets wore a deserted look.
All inter and intra state bus services were also cancelled.

Police forces were deployed to ensure that the ongoing examinations and the Assembly session went on smoothly as usual.
Large contingents of security personnel were deployed in and around the Assembly premises.
Police said so far no untoward incident had been reported.
