Sonia's public meeting in AP twin city cancelled

Hyderabad, Mar 3 (UNI) AICC President Sonia Gandhi's scheduled public meeting on March 14 at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad has been cancelled due to an urgent assignment.

In a release here, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president- in-charge G S Rao said Ms Gandhi's other programmes on the same day would be held as per schedule.

Ms Gandhi is scheduled to inaugurate Pushkaram Irrigation Project in east Godavari district after which she would attend a public meeting at Jaggampeta in the district.

It would be followed by a visit to the Devadula Irrigation Project in Warangal district, followed by inauguration of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.
