One killed, another injured in clash in Punjab

Amritsar, Mar 3 (UNI) One person was killed while his brother suffered serious injuries after they were attacked by sharp-edged weapons by a rival group in the Dashmesh Nagar locality of Kot Khalsa in the city this evening.

According to the police, the assaliants attacked the two brothers near the railway crossing in the locality. While Pargat Singh died on the spot, his brother was admitted to hospital in serious condition.

The police said both were delivery boys with a LPG gas angency and they had some personel dispute with some youths of Dashmesh Nagar, where they resided. Police have registered a case, but no arrests have been made so far.
