Lord taken out on 'Surya Prabha Vahanam'

Tirupati, Mar 3 (UNI) The processional deity of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara was taken out in a colourful procession on the seventh day of the ongoing annual 'Brahmotsavams' in the Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Sreenivasa Mangapuram, near here, this morning.

Adorned with jewels and mounted on a decorated 'Surya Prabha Vahanam,' the deity was taken in a procession around the temple wintnessed by hundreds of devotees.

Later, temple priests performed 'Snapana Thirumanjanam' to the deity.

After 'Unjal Seva' in the night, the deity would be placed on the 'Chandra Prabha Vahanam' and taken out in a procession around the temple.
