L S congratulates Under-19, Indian cricket teams

New Delhi, Mar 3 (UNI) The Lok Sabha today congratulated the Indian cricket -- men and under-19 -- teams for their feat in Sydney and Kuala Lumpur respectively yesterday.

This House congratulates both the teams for their feat, the Under-19 for winning the coveted world cup by beating South Africa.

India beating Australia in the first of the best of three finals of the CB Tri-series at Sydney -- and wishes them to continue bringing laurels to the country, Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee said.

It was really a day of great pride for the country, he said, while reading out the resolution unanimously adopted by the House.
