Haryana to select state football team on March 5

Chandigarh, Mar 3 (UNI) Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Department will select a state football team on March 5 at Hero's Memorial Stadium, Ambala for the Bhartiya Akhil Sewa Football Tournament to be held at Mandaya in Karnataka from March 12 to 19.

While giving this information here today an official spokesman of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department said that 16 male football players would be selected from the state for this tournament.

He said that a training camp would be organised for the selected players at the stadium from March 6 to 8 and Mr Arun Kant, football trainer of Ambala would train the players in this training camp.
