Full EC team arrives in Bangalore

Bangalore, Mar 3 (UNI) The full team of the Election Commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalaswamy arrived here tonight to hold parlays with officials and politicians on the conduct of mid-term polls to Karnataka Legislative Assembly.

Election Commissioners Navin Chawla and S Y Qureshi accompanied the CEC.

Tomorrow the team would hold day-long meeting with Presiding officers, Deputy commissioners of all districts and in the end, with leaders of political party.

The team is in the city to finalise the updated electoral rolls and examine the delimitation work of Assembly and Lok Sabha segments taken up by State election commission, as per the Delimitation Commission recommendation.
