Enrique Iglesias plans to retire at 50
Washington, Mar 3 : Enrique Iglesias has already set the age when he's going to retire from making music - 50.
The 'Tired of Being Sorry' singer insists that he wouldn't want to continue writing and singing songs after reacting the half century mark, for he believes that his brand of energetic pop music is not suited to middle aged man.
In this regard, he admits, he's very different from his father Julio Iglesias, who he reckons will probably 'die onstage'.
"I'm not sure I want to be up on a stage when I'm 64 or 65. In my father's case, I think he's going to die onstage and I respect that very much. In my case, in 15 years I'll probably look ridiculous singing Bailamos (Let's Dance)," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
However, he does also admit that he might just have a change of heart at the last moment.
"I want to retire in the next 15 years. But that's what I say now. Who knows if I'll have the courage to do it when the day comes," he said.
