CISF let go a Guwahati bound tea official after seizing his ammo
Kolkata, Mar 3 (UNI) The security officials today seized six ammuntion of .32 bore from a Guwahati bound passenger at the NSCBI airport.
Airport official said the passenger, identified as A K Choudhury, a senior official of a tea company, was carrying cartridges in his hand bag. Although the official had valid license for such ammunition but he did not know that carrying such bullets was forbidden in the aircraft.
After checking all his documents the Central Industrial Security Force personnel allowed the passenger to move further but seized his cartridges and handed over those to the airport police.
Carrying of ammunition on aircraft is allowed only after informing the authorities during checking in and on production of original documents.
