Child killed after being run over by car

Mumbai, Mar 3 (UNI) A 14-month-old child lost her life after being run over by a car at Vile Parle here.

Police have arrested Dr Suresh Kulkarni who driving the car.

The child, Sainya Manoj Chavan, was playing on the lawns of her building and was accompanied by her maid.

The police said Dr Kulkarni was teaching his son drive the car when they lost control over the vehicle, following which it rammed into the building after running over the child and her maid.

The maid received minor injuries. The girl succumbed to her injuries in Nanavati hospital, the police said.
