Woman throws children, commits suicide in front of train

Chennai, Mar 2 (UNI) A woman threw her two children before a speeding train and allegedly committed suicide by jumping before it between Pattabiram and Thiruninravur suburban stations today.

Police said the woman was aged around 35, while her son and daughter were aged seven and five years respectively.

The reason for the suicide was not immediately known.

The bodies were sent to the Government General Hospital for post-mortem.

The victims were not identified, police added.
