UP govt recommends CBI inquiry into Rs 5,000 crore scam

Lucknow, Mar 2 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has sought a CBI inquiry into the alleged misappropiation of Rs 5,000 crore in painting Anpara-Unnav power line tower.

UP Secretary for Home Mahesh Kumar Gupta here today said a letter regarding the same had already been dispatched to the Centre for its approval.
