Two arrested, 8 kg opium seized in Jharkhand
Chatra, Mar 2 (UNI) Two people were arrested and eight kgs of opium seized from them in Sadar police station area in the district late last night, police said today.
Acting on a tip off, raids were conducted in the area and the duo, possessing the contraband, was caught from near an old petrol pump, police said.
The value of opium was estimated to be about Rs 5 lakh, police added.
