Rs 34.18 lakh distributed as compensation

Kakinada, Mar 2 (UNI) Sixty-two persons, who surrendered their houses voluntarily for the Special Economic Zones (SEZ), have been paid towards compensation.

Sampara MLA A Bullebbai Reddy distributed the amount of Rs 34.18 lakh the ousters at a function held at the Tahasildar's office in U Kothapalli near here today.

Tahasildar S Mallibabu said the displaced were from Ponnada village, Dadala palem, Mathavari palem and Srirampuram village.
