Pakistani Punjab Government to release Aitzaz Ahsan

Islamabad, Mar 2 : The Pakistani Punjab Government has decided to release the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president Aitzaz Ahsan.

The Government of Punjab has decided to release Aitzaz Ahsan as the completion of the first phase of transfer of power with the final results of elections are announced, The News quoted Home Secretary Khusro Pervaiz, as saying.

Ahsan could be set free any time, as the security cordon around his residence is being withdrawn.
