MP Cong exec to be formed by March 20
Ujjain, MP, Mar 2 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Suresh Pachouri today said the state executive would be formed by March 20 and workers with clean image would be made to come forward in the party organisation so that a ''newness'' is seen.
''Unified workers and a dynamic organisation would make the Congress a claimant for victory in the coming assembly elections,'' he told mediapersons here.
Accusing the state's Shivraj Singh Chouhan regime of reneging on promises, Mr Pachouri added that the government failed to provide power, irrigation water and other facilities to farmers.
''The state regime is levelling an untrue allegation that the Centre is discriminating against Madhya Pradesh. Besides economic assistance, the state's power share is being supplied,'' he claimed while quoting National Crime Records Bureau statistics about alleged spurt in rapes in Madhya Pradesh and adding that atrocities against tribals and minorities has risen.
