Three killed, four injured in accident

Jaunpur, Mar 2: At least three passengers were killed and four others critically injured while their vehicle fell into a gorge in Machlishahr area here early this morning.

The acidentg happened on Jaunpur-Allahabad road near Khakhopur village, where the ill-fated vehicle SUV, carrying Laxmi Prasad's family of Jharkhand overturned and fell into the gorge, police said. Three people, including driver Alam, Laxmi Prasad and his father-in-law Ram Baran died on the spot, while Vinod, Harishchandra, Prachi and Guddi sustained severe injuries in the accident.

The bodies were sent for post-mortem.
