Woman kills husband in AP village

Kakinada, Mar 1 (UNI) Unable to tolerate humiliation and mental torture, a woman allegedly beat her husband to death with a wooden log at their home in Rajavaram village under Kotananduru police station limits in East Godavari district today.

According to police, Killadi Devudu, who returned home after a few days' hospitalisation, suspected his wife Killadi Lakshmi of infidelity and tortured her which forced her to take the extreme step.

She was later arrested.

In another incident, Challapalli Jogulu, a farmer of Venkata Nagar area, was runover by a lorry while crossing a road. The Tuni town police had registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem.
