Scientist's house robbed
Hyderabad, Mar 1 (UNI) A ten-member gang decamped with gold and cash worth Rs 2.5 lakh from a scientist's house after injuring the family members under Uppal police station limits here.
Police said the gang broke the grills of a window to burgle the house of a retired National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) scientist Upendar Raval yesterday night. His daughter received minor injuries after she was beaten up when she shouted for help.
When the family members tried to raise an alarm, the robbers threatened to kill them.
