Rly route issue to be cleared in few days:Bangla Army Chief
Bolpur, Mar 1 (UNI) Bangladesh Army Chief Moin-u-Ahmed today said discussions were on for the proposed new railway route between India and Bangladesh and a consensus would be reached within the next couple of days.
Talking to newspersons, Mr Ahmed, who arrived at Shantiniketan on a visit, said Bangladesh was keen to establish the new railway route as it would strengthen friendship and bilateral trade.
He also claimed that the Bangladeshi security forces were trying their utmost to nab the miscreants responsible for stealing Rabindranath Tagore's Nobel Prize for Literature, as the great poet was an asset not only for India but also for his country.
