Rain, snow likely in J

Pune Mar,1 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Nicobar. Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur a few places in Andaman and Lakshadweep, isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Mainly dry weather will prevail in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Heavy rain have occurred at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in south Chattisgarh. Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in Vidarbha, some parts of north Orissa, southwest Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, south interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of south Chattisgarh. They were below normal in coastal and north interior Karnataka and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, northeast Madhya Pradesh, Kutch, some parts of north Uttar Pradesh and east Rajasthan and were above normal in some parts of Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. They were normal over the rest of the country.
