Plea to regularise TWAD employees

Tiruchirapalli, Mar 1 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board (TWAD) Ministerial Staff Association today appealed to the state government to regularise the services of all its employees, who had put in 480 days of service.

Addressing the press after the inaugural session of the two-day 32nd General Council meeting, Association General Secretary A Natarajan said a resolution to this effect was adopted at the meeting.

The resolution had demanded fixing of higher pay scale for those promoted as junior assistants and appointments on compassionate grounds to 350 persons.
