Jr engineer held for taking bribe

Bangalore, Mar 01(UNI) Lokayukta police arrested a junior engineer of Kanakapura for accepting a bribe for showing an official favour.

A Lokayukta police release said that Shankar, a junior engineer of BESCOM had demanded Rs 10,000 as a bribe from H T Raju to give electrical connection.

The Lokayukta police caught Shankar redhanded in a trap while taking the bribe money from the complainant yesterday.
