Jharkhand's Special Officer Vijendra bereaved
New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) Kamala Devi, mother of Vijendra Goel, Special Representative of Jharkhand Government (Minister of State) in Delhi, died here after a prolonged illness.
She was 75.
Devi, who was cremated at the Nigambodh Ghats this evening, is survived by three sons, including Mr Vijendra.
A large number of people, including family friends, thronged Mr Goel's residence at Patel Nagar in Central Delhi, to pay their respect to the departed soul.
A wreath was placed on her body on behalf of President Pratibha Devisingh Patil.
