International Women's Day to be held from March 3
New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) A festival to mark International Women's Day is being organised by the Union Women and Child Development Ministry in the capital from March 3 to 17.
Specially designed bangles and red bands in the "Ananya" colours will be distributed to women on March 3 starting with the istribution of the Ananya flag (the Indian Women's Day flag) in the city to raise awareness .
To coincide with the event, seminars, workshops, rallies, screening of a special film "Ananya" and information dissemination booths at various city malls have been planned for the fortnight-long celebration.
