IndiGo acquires 17th aircraft, extends flight to Guwahati
Mumbai, Mar 1 (UNI) IndiGo, the low-fare domestic airline, has taken delivery of its 17th brand new Airbus A320 aircraft and extended an existing daily Mumbai-Kolkata flight to Guwahati, from yesterday.
The airliner in a release here today said, it was now operating 118 daily flights connecting 17 destinations.
The flight 6E321 will depart from Mumbai at 0920 hrs and reach Guwahati at 1455 hrs.
The fare to Guwahati would be Rs 2099 plus taxes and surcharge.
Speaking on the launch of new services from here. President and CEO of IndiGo Bruce Ashby said, the new services would offer flexibility to customers in organising their travel.
IndiGo plans to serve approximately 30 Indian cities by 2010, with a fleet of approximately 40 A320s.
