Congress demands probe into Bishnoi's 'benami' properties

Ambala, Mar 1 (UNI) Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) working President Kuldip Sharma today demanded a high-level inquiry into the alleged 'benami' properties of suspended Congress MP Kuldip Bishnoi.

Such properties were acquired in Gurgaon and Faridabad districts when Mr Bishnoi's father Mr Bhajan Lal was the Chief Minister of the state, Mr Sharma alleged while interacting with mediapersons here.

He also alleged that Mr Bishnoi was making a hue and cry over the creation of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) because he feared that his ''precious lands in Gurgaon belt could be acquired''.

HPCC President Phool Chand Mullana was also present on the occasion.
