CBI court releases Sanjeev Nanda's passport
New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) A CBI court, in Patiala House, today released Sanjeev Nanda's passport, which was seized in a raid related to Barak Missile Case.
Suresh Nanda, father of Sanjeev Nanda, is an alleged accused in Barak Missile Case. In April 2006, the CBI raided Suresh Nanda's premises and seized the passport of Sanjeev Nanda.
Sanjeev pleaded before the CBI court that earlier also he has been allowed to visit abroad by this court.
He appealed to the court to allow him to go abroad, in the US, UK, Bangkok etc.
After hearing the plea, the CBI court special Judge Indermeet Kaur Kochar allowed Sanjeev to go abroad and permitted to release the passport on the conditions of furnishing surety of Rs two lakhs.
The court also directed Sanjeev to apprise about the places he visited after returning.
