Asif, Shakeel remanded in Judicial custody till Mar 14
Hubli, Mar 1 (UNI) The Judicial Magistrate First Class Court III today remanded suspected terrorists Mohamed Asif and Shakeel Ahmed Mali in Judicial custody till March 14.
The case came up for hearing before JMFC III as JMFC II Judge Srinivas was on leave.
Assistant Public Prosecutor Kiran Patill said that citing security reasons, it was prayed to remand the duo in judicial custody in Dharwad jail.
He said allowing the defence lawyer's plea, the Judge M K Ashok permitted him to meet his client during the visiting hour.
The Judge directed the Jail Authority to allow Asif's lawyer Mr I D Jalgar to meet him (Asif) subject to the prevailing rules.
