ADE launches LCA Mission Simulator
Bangalore, Mar 1 (UNI) City-based Aircraft Development Establishment (ADE) today launched a mission simulator for Light Combat Aircraft (LCA)-Tejus here.
The simulator, which has been developed based on the simple fixed base simulator of the early nineties, has been set up inside a nine metre dia dome with six synchronised high performance image generators, a DRDO release here said.
The simulator had synthetic instrument panels and various avionics display.
The GE-F404 engine model and the indigenous Kaveri engine model were also integrated into the simulator.
The simulator is developed by ADE in association with Aircraft Development Agency and National Aeronautics Laboratory, the release added.
