2 partymen hurt in attack

Kannur, Kerala, Mar 1 (UNI) Two people suffered serious stab injuries when they were attacked by a 15-member gang at Eladathuthaze, near Thalasseri, in this district of Kerala in the wee hours of today.

Police identified the victims as P Satheesh(28) of Congress and P Sijith(26), a BJP worker.

Satheesh, who suffered injuries on both hands and Sijith with serious injuries on both legs were rushed to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.

The victims were returning home after attending a temple festival when the incident took place.

The autorickshaw in which they were travelling was also set on fire by the miscreants.
