Speaker's wits burst Assemby in laughter

Bhopal, Feb 29 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Assembly burst into laughter today when reacting on a minister's reply to a ruling party member's query, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said in a lighter vein that he will see both the minister as well as road.

Raising the question related to the construction of roads in his constituency in question hour, Sunil Nayak (BJP) urged Public Works Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya to complete the road construction work before demitting office. On this Mr Vijawargiya clarified that Mr Nayak was referring the completion of his term.

Consoling the BJP legislator, Mr Rohani has given witty remark that he will see both the minister and the road. On this the house witnessed an abrupt cachinnation.

Mr Nayak was considered close to the BJP rebel and former chief minister Uma Bharti. He also faced suspension following anti-party activities.
