Reference rate at Rs 39.92 per USD

Mumbai, Feb 29 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India today fixed the reference rate for the US dollar at Rs 39.92, up by 11 paise as compared to its yesterday's rate.

The exchange rates of Great Britain's Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were given as Rs 79.3170 per pound and Rs 38.10 per 100 yen respectively, an RBI release said.
