Congress (S) Executive meeting on Mar 21

Tiruchirapalli, Feb 29: The Tamil Nadu Congress (S) Executive meeting will be held in Chennai on March 21.

Tamil Nadu Congress (S) President Thanjai Jayapal told newsmen here last night that Congress Chief Kadanapalli Ramachandran will preside over the meeting which would discuss among other things party-building activities, current political situation and forging alliances for 'future and forthcoming elections.' Tamizhaga Vivasayigal Makkal Katchi President Vaikunta Rao had expressed the desire to form alliance with the Congress (S).

Earlier, Mr Jayapal held discussions with Mr Rao and office- bearers of the Tiruchirapalli District Unit.
