7-yr-old dies in accidental shooting in J
Jammu, Feb 29 (UNI) A seven-year-old girl died in accidental fire while fiddling with the 303 rifle of her father in teshil Budhal of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here said today.
''The deceased identified as Nazia, daughter of Mohammad Shabir, a member of Village Defence Committee (VDC) in village Aniyan of tehsil Budhal died on the spot when the rifle went off and she sustained a bullet injury,'' official sources told UNI.
However, police have initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 of CrPC.
