Youth kills sister in Lucknow

Lucknow, Feb 28: A youth shot dead his sister in Banthara area of the Uttar Pradesh capital today, police said.

They said Narendra of village Kuraini shot Anita (31) as she had been refusing to go to her in-laws house for the last two months.

She succumbed to her injuries. Anita died on the spot.

Anita had eloped with a youth 10 months back. Later, she returned to her parental house over discord with her husband, police said.

A manhunt had been launched, they added.
